flywheel question
Does anyone know if i can use the stock aluminum flywheel on my 2004 cobra if i switch to a centerfoce dual friction clutch kit? The car has about 490 rwhp and the stock clutch isn"t holding.I would like to use it if i could to save a little money because it is still in good shape.I would appreciate any advice.

Yes you can, just get it resurfaced. However, I think Aluminum uses steel wear plates so instead of a resurface, those would need to be replaced.

EDIT... nevermind. Withdrawn... think I was wrong.

well that's something you'll have to ask c/f as not ALL clutch material is compatable wth other companys flywheels. now another thing of note is when you start making over 500 hp, diaphram style pressure plates just wont cut-it, you need to go-to a 3 finger set up like the RAM 9000 series |
