Fuel Filter

What is the easiest way to change the fuel filter on a 03 GT?

Very easy thing to do.
1. Take out the fuse for the fuel pump and let the car run until it dies. You can skip this but you will end up w/ a ton of gas on you if you do.
2. Jack up the rear.
3. Using a fuel-line disconnect tool, disconnect the fuel lines.
4. Loosen the hose clamp and pop the filter off.
5. Repeat steps backwards (the disconnect tool won't be needed) to install the new one.

I did a write up on this a while back....the directions are like the bullitt archives, but I did a few things differently to help with gas leaking.

What type of fuel line disconnect tool do you have? There are a few different types of tools. These are the ones I used. I just slid them in and then pulled the line out.
