4 valve work with a 2 valve
 

I just got a weird offer for a 4 valve cylinder heads DOHC, from a 4.6 (assuming a cobra, getting more info tomorrow). I was just wondering if these would fit in place of a 2 valve SOHC (My GT). Or is not possible. I also wondered if these could be swapped, would i be making more power. I don't really know what these do, a friend of mine wanted to switch them out. I was just wondering what your guys take was. Could i easily switch these two by just bolting them on? Or would there be some major moding need to be done. By the way, they wouldn't cost me much so price isn't a problem. Could these be done, and is worth a shot.

yes it will work but you have to get the 4v wiring harness, intake and cams(4) if you can get all this you can do it but it wont be very easy unless you know what your doing

From what I've read, they aren't a direct bolt on. You need the intake, I believe new computer and wires. You should just get them cheap and sell them for more than you bought them for.

Itll cost a lot to get them on the car. You're better off getting stock heads ported.
