Let us know how it runs after, are you having a shop do the work?

I just had mine put in yesterday!!!!! I got that and a SCT custom tune w/4 position chip, and subframe connectors. I can't believe the difference, hands down it's the best mod I've done, it feels like a different car. All I have to say is that if anyone is haveing a hard time chooseing which gear to go with,......GET THE 4:10's!!!!!!!

another happy 4.10 guy!!!. I got my nitto DR's the same time i put in the gears and some upper and lower control arms. I was worried 1st gear would just be smoke. But i spin less now than before.

I've got a local guy in delaware that's been doing my mustang rears for 15 years and everyone's, If your close to delaware PM me. He only charges $200.

The shop is only charging me 150.00 but I supply everything. he also would not do it unless i get the bearing installation kit even though it only has 9000 miles on it so i ordered it today. also do you believe it only holds two pints of synthetic oil and posi juice and i think that is only 4 ounces? Dont sound like much oil

i want 4.10's so bad but i do a good 10 miles of highway driving daily, plus i love highway racing

MineralGT 05-04-2005 11:32 PM

I'm probably going to get the 4.10's soon from this site...After the install, am I going to need to recalibrate the Speedometer or any other gauges?

Well first, GET THE GEARS!!!! Like I said, hands down it's the best mod i've done, wish I would of done it first, and yes you will need to get your speedo recalibrated. The best thing to do is just get a chip or programmer(I recommend the SCT 4-position chip) because your gonna spend like 100 bucks on a speedcal, when a chip is like 350 and you get that and a whole lot more.

go for it
