Dyno tuning?

What's the cost of an average dyno tune? Say that my car has some bolt ons, exaust, 75mm throttle body and pleneum and I want it to get tuned to the new parts. What does it cost to dial in these add on so the car will benefit from them? Mark M :t:

basic bolt ons with benefit imediatly. A tune just changes the settings on the car itself.

Average about $500

$150 - $200 + the cost of the chip or tuner

My shop charges $100 an hour for tuning. He uses SCT XCal2 and charges $400 for that.

I was lucky, I got 4 hours of tuning for free, and I have free tunes for life.

$500 to get a car tuned!?!?! I paid $250 to get my car tuned with full bolt ons, converter, and nitrous (thats two separate tunes). It was $150 to the tuner and $100 to the shop for dyno time.

It shouldnt take more then an hour to tune a car with just bolt ons.

O yea, I got 3 tunes, lol.

with those mods you can get away with a handheld and a quick A/F ratio check and power run on the dyno. To get the most out of your mods... bolt on a blower.
