pulley
ok so the bearing on my tensioner pulley went bad and i bought a new one to replace it but am having trouble seeing how to take it off...ive replaced a tensioner before on other cars but this time it is just the pulley-- just for clarifacation you all kno where you put the 1/2 inch ratched to loosen tension and take the belt off at...well that same pulley is the one i am replacing and im not sure how to get it off? anyone else ever replaced this before.?

OOOOkkk basically HAS anybody ever taken the tensioner off of their car? and how

guess not, I mostly just sell new tensioners, given all the problems wth them and the fact that it may be the tensioners fault the bearing went bad. does your car have the "improved" black steel tensioner on it or the "prone to bending" aluminum one on it?

that is correct, the aluminum tensioners are prone to bowing or bending outwards and this causes the belt to ride off to the side, which can cause early belt or pulley faliure. Ford had a TSB back in 1998 to improve this and one thing was the new steel tensioners(and a belt guide and a flanged water pump and P/S pump pulley). we have plenty of the steel tensioner kits in stock, there pricey at @$135.00 and come wth a new belt. the belt guide is also in stock and @$10.00, it is recommended but not 100% required.
