Best springs?

Hey guys. I want to lower my stang a bit, and I was curious as to what springs and shocks u guys are running. I dont want to go too low, but i dont want the 4x4 look anymore as well. Whats the best for the price? which hold up the best and which give the best ride? thanks!

I have Eibachs which is 1 1/2" drop and I recommend you upgrade your shocks if going this low or lower. I have a nuclear reactor in my trunk so it adds weight to the back therefore its a bit lower. I hit speed bumps all the time if I dont go slow enought. I bought some ureathane isolators to see if it will raise it a bit. If I had to do it again I would get the steeda springs which lower 1 1/4 ". If you plan not to have anything in the truck then you might be ok with 1 1/2".

I am probably going to go with the Ford C-springs and Mach 1 shocks and struts. This is about a 1 - 1.25 in drop so most dont need C/C plates. Thats coming up soon. :D

Same here, I have had my eye on the C springs for some time now. I like the look without going to low.

this is what I have and I love the look of the front, but not the back so much. I have taken care of this problem by cutting the deal coil on top of the rears. There is no difference in ride quality BTW after doing this.

Sweet. Did you install the springs yourself? I am going to attempt to go the DIY route. If I get them I will get the dead coil cut like you did. Thanks for the reply.

i am using a pair of maxspeed springs 2" front 1.8" rear, I have had them on for about a year and have had no problems with camber or toe, tire wear, or shocks or struts, and car still rides like the day i drove it off the dealers lot!

yeah the install was actually really easy...I've done it twice already because I took the rears out to cut the coils.

I just replaced the spring isolators this morning. Original ones were torn up. Got the urethane ones and it is a little higher. Went over a couple of speed bumps with no problems.
