Longtube Header clearance??
I'm about to purchase a set of BBK longtube headers with the BBK H-pipe... i am lowering the front end of my car 1.5". Will i be scraping the ground with these longtubes?? Or will it be better to buy some shorties and purchase an additional downpipe? thanx

you should be fine..just take your time when u go over speed bumps and driveways that are about 4 inches higher than the road cause of the gutter...
you will have to take ur time on those things reguardless if u had longtubes....but u will be just fine |
Your headers/midpipe will hang anywhere from 3.5 to 5 inches away from the ground so youll scrape over speed bumps and stuff. Mine scrape but very rarely.

Just take the speed bumps at angle

thanx guys, also, have any of you heard of BBK headers coming with a dent or bend like in the 2nd tube on the driver side, the person that is selling these headers said that BBK puts the bend or dent in the 2nd tube as a result of the steering column.

I put on a set of BBk LT x-pipe. Fits great, hugs real nice, have zero dragging issues.

I hardly ever scrape with my SLP LT's and Steeda Sport Springs

I have H&Rs with BBK shorties but my slp mid pipe hangs low. Ill scrape on some driveways, and on speed bumps sometimes.
