PI swap problems

I've had nothing but problems with mechanics and my mustang, trying to get this swap done. My car has been out of commission for about four months and my newest problem is this loud clicking sound i hear when my car is running. The car is still with the mechanic. He thought it was the lifters, but after changing them the sound is still as loud as ever. He says its somthing internal and that its probably the intake valves hitting the pistons. He also says the timing is right and he tried to adjust it but the way its set now is right. Why am i having this problem and what can be done to fix this? I used all new ford racing parts and the cylinder head changing kit, from everythig i hear its a simple and common bolt on process, I don't know why I've had so many problems.

The only thing you have not changed is the mechanic. Take it to a Mustang specific shop as they are more familiar with problems it may have plus how to correctly install it. You are wasting time and money taking it back to him. It could be many things but dont let him touch your car again.

Take it to Downs Ford in Toms River or Wicked Motorsports, they specialize in Mustang Performance
