Well I have looked at these for awhile and being shortie headers do you think they are worth it or not??I've heard some good thing's about them.

Also being shorties they would be a hell of alot easier installing them!!

I like JBA, but for headers I'd go LT or nothing, Again just me. (slp or BBK). All the shortie dynos I've seen have been around a peak of 8-10hp, LT show 12-18, the PITA level is th same...I say go LT.

All or nothing lance. Long tubes, then a nice set of cams and you'll be set! And i've heard installing shorties is just as hard as long tubes. You still have to loosen the motor mounts and raise it up.

Kind of what I was thinking to guy's.I'm not doing it yet but I'm planning out my winter mod's for sure!!

I dont know about as hard, as you can move then around alot easier but its still gonna be tuff sucker to install. I have seen people make gains with them but of course the long tubes out did the shorties every time. If you wanna compromise the bassani mid lengths made great power and dont make your ground clearnce turn to poop. Made almost as much as long tubes and a ton more then the shorties did. I know a guy here in orlando named ryan had a bolt on GT made 18hp with just that added to the car and a off road x-pipe.

don't waste your time or money with shorties - longtubes are the only way to go!

hahahaha...

lance...LT or bust

only bad thing is you will have to buy a new mid pipe for the LT's

when you get a blower or nitrous or cams, then shorties will be worth it, till then save your money. LT's or nothing on NA motors.

lance, ive done shorties but i had the idea in mind of upgrading in the future and thats why I have 3.90s with my setup. From experience, go with longtubes. The install will be exactly the same and my shorties to midpipe area sits about as low as any longtube setup ive seen. Go with longtubes because its a pain in the ass to get them headers in. Might as well do long tubes and get it done right the first time.
