Could be a few different things, but in this case, I would start with cleaning the IAC. Do you have a stock TB?

I believe it screws in right after the air filter (IAC), do you have the air silencer removed? A lot of times thats whats makes it dirty, i know mine is the same way! Hope you fix it.

the IAC is connected to the plenum. its right next to those little red hoses. clean your MAF while your at it too.

The IAC is a shiny metal thing that is right on the front of your intake plenum. Those screws are a pain in the ass to get out...lol.

This may not be your problem, but I had similar issues with my 2005 GT, so I figured I'd pipe in, just so you have as much info as possible. When I would stop, my car would feel like it was just about to stall out, but then "catch" itself. It was a lot more noticable if I had the brakes applied. Also, when I would be crusing at highway speeds, (55-70ish) and I would accelrate (still being in 5th gear) it felt like I had no power at all. I'd have to drop to 4th, sometimes 3rd gear to get any power. Finally, after about 2 weeks of this, my Check Engine light came on. The report back from the dealer was, that I had two bad spark plugs and an ignition coil.

That should do the trick.

Had the same problem not too long ago. Replaced the IAC and it's good to go.
