Where is my Rear Window Defrost Button at?
I'm setting here thinkin about my mustang... and where is my rear window defrost buttion at? I bought a repair manual for my mustang. "Haynes Repair Manual" Ford Mustang 1994-2003. Well anyway i was reading threw my book and came across the RWD button. *rear window defrost* and i was like "i dont remember having one of them. So i got out to my car and look where the button is suppose to be located at. ITS NOT THERE!!! The only thing there was a cover and when i took it off it revealed a plug lookin thing. Its a 2000 Ford Mustang V6. I was wondering if anyone else is missing this button.
P.S. I'll post some pics of it in a few minutes i gotta run my fat butt out there. ITS COLD!!! Thanks, Xilan |
Mine is there. Do you have small orange lines across the back of your window on the inside?
Yess i do.. lol Its weird..i would have pics up right now but its too dark to get a good picture... they all turned out black.
They're there but no button. |
Go buy the button from ford and youll have defrost.
I no thats prolly what i'll have to do but i was wondering why it wasnt there in the first place. Like if the factory had made it without the button or what... and why it had a cover over it... its weird... I'll figure something out.
I bet someone changed you gauge cluster cover with one from a 2001+.
Defrost buttons are overrated...
yeah i think darksith is right, because i have an auto 2000 v6 and mine is right where it is supposed to be...
That sucks cuz now i need a button. :dots:
Quick Question: Has anyone ever drove there stang on ice? LOL FUNNNN:dots: :bash: :wallbash: |

if your windows are tinted, don't waste your money on using it. All it will do is bubble up your tint!!!
