Now here is a thought....so you think your mods work?
 

A good forum friend of mine (who shal;l remain nameless) mentioned something interesting to me the other day.

He is a VERY experienced racer with over 200 trips down the track just in his Mustang and prolly a 1000 trips in his lieftime.

He has a pretty modified car, though the engine is STOCK and his car is fast. So? Well, he has run his car with and w/o his SCT tune and picks up around a half second. He has an auto, so that has part to do with the large gains.

He claims that when he makes a run, he can't tell the difference from the seat of his pants from a 12.9 or 13.4. They both "feel" the same. This makes me wonder, if you can really "feel" the affects of a TB or UDP mods that only pick-up 0.1 seconds. Sure, mods are great, but unless they really make a huge difference, I am not sure if your butt really can tell, or if it is your wallet that is talking.

some is probably mental......but I KNOW I can feel gears....they give a nice kick in the pants

The gears are the biggest gain ive felt, followed by the tb/plenum, but that gain was all up top. Im sure the LTs wont fail to impress, we are talking 20 rwhp gains and similar torque from 2500 all the way through the powerband *headbang

I know i couldn't tell the difference with my u/d pullies or my hypertech power tune...

I saw no difference in a majority of my mods

Two words: Placebo Effect

you wont feel most but when you add them together they make you go alot faster. its all about getting a good combo of mods that work together to make you fast.

Then of course spray it when your done :)
