Anybody know how to wire up my radar...

So i don't have to plug it into the cigarette lighter all the time?

Honestly, yes.
It is rather simple.
The wire from the detector has 2 wires inside of it. One is hot (power) one is ground. The bezel where your lighter is, comes of with some restrained force (oxymoron-ish I know, but you get the idea) Anywho, on the reverse side of the lighter you will have 2 wires one is on the end and the other is on the side. I believe, if memory serves correctly, the end one is hot and side one is ground, basicly, if you splice the radar wires into these two wires you will have power without taking up your lighter. The next question you should ask is..
Where do I route all of wires so they are not ugly and strewn acroos my dash?

Cheers

no, dont do it that way. wire it in so that it turns off when the car turns off. theres no sense in leaving it on all the time. in your owners manual there is a diagram for the fuse panel find one that turns off when the car turns off and splice the wires into there. im not sure which wire would be ground in your case because i dont know your radar detector but it shouldnt be hard to tell. they are polarized though so it does matter.

mine is clipped on the visor but you can still do the same thing i did. or another option is to wire it into the courtesy lights. there is a wire in there that turns off 2-5 mins after the car turns off. my friend did that on his 06 gt and every car he had before that. either way is easy enough..
