Got a '04 gt last night
 

Last night I went out and baught an '04 GT, black with gold stipes/goldish bullett wheels, mach1000 stereo. The car only has 17K miles on it too. Like normal I decided to go out with my g/f and show off my new mustang, well thats when everyone was like "lets see what it's got...you wanna run it?" I had the car for about 3 hours and people already wanted to race...kinda funny b/c the one was a h22 civic....so since i knew him i was like WTH lets go do it.....1st time i put about 6 cars on him, 2nd time i gave him a car and the kick and still put 3-4 cars on him.....so overall a great night having my mustang.

Thats the same car i got man. 2004 black 40th anniversary addition, thats where the beige stripes and rims come from.

19k aint bad for it dude. I got mine about a year and a half ago new for 28k (well, i got it for less than that cause i rule, but that was the sticker price, loaded 04 GT 40th package was about 28k)

ewwww..thoughs stripes look retarded please get them removed or get some better 1's..also not likeing the goldish bullets...overall nice new car.

What's your fun new plans for it? Love the black, looks like it's got a real nice shine/wax to it still.

The rims arent gold.... They were painted to match the stripes, unless somone actually painted em.
The stock 40th anniversary bullits are arizona beige. They really dont look like that in person, here is a pic of my car after i got rid of the stock stripes, the rims are also that arizona beige, but it is WAY more subtle than that pic

I know i have a 2004 myself..thoughs rims just looked gold to me.

Yea Slappy your stripe look awesome..perfect color and I love the pin stripes..like the red calipers too..get some DD anthracite for the back tho!

For right now i'm not gonna do anything just yet, but give a couple weeks and i'll do something....CAI/exhaust/diablo tune I dont wanna do too much with it still having warranty considering a guy in his 60's had it 1st. I took it out last night with my buddies who all have mustangs and went cruisin and got alot of compliment on it being clean. I'm not a big fan on it being wingless, but hopefully put the 03-04 cobra wing on.

Also i only paid $19,4 everything said and done w/ gap insurance.

Once you see the car in person you would appreciate them, it's a good combo.

I like it. I have an 04 but without the anniversary pack (stripes, goldish wheels) I wish I coulda found one but I couldn't pass up the one I bought. I kinda like the arizona beige stripes and wheels cuz not many people have em. It makes the car different especially since it came from the factory, however if you do go diff wheels I think you'd have to ditch the beige stripes to make it look right. Id leave it wingless b/c of the special edition pack. 19,000 does seem kinda high but if you can justify it and u like the car, that is all that matters. The anniversary package is like an $870 option. I paid just under 17,100 for my stang with 4500 miles on it so that plus and 870 option is 17970 so not too bad I guess.

I didnt see the price too bad considering it also has the Mach1000 strereo which is pretty bad@ss, and make my boys jealous since they have the regular mach460. Also that total price does include extended warranty, Gap inssurance and some other crap to so all in all I feel it was very reasonable and a near perfect car...few tiny rock chips from normal road wear.

with extended warranty that sounds a little better.
i got my 04 brand new for $19,000 w/gap insurance and all that good stuff, but no extended warranty...it just sounded high to me since the anniversary package was only around $900 or something if i remember right...

might want to think about just getting a K&N filter for around $50 instead of a CAI. The cost of a CAI isn't worth it, put that money toward some gears! once again congrats on the new ride! :punk:

Nice ride man. Not too bad of a price too. that probably stickered for 28 G in 04. Purvis Ford used to have a dealship here in Fayetteville NC.

Also the stripes look good. Nice find.. Gl on keeping that clean

my boy got his 04 GT with Black FR500 Rims for 17.5K had 28 k miles...so idk if that was the best deal...sry i know it sucks but try Crystal Ford in MD, they have just about the lowest prices in the DC area...thats where I got mine

Nice new ride, nice knowing another 40th aniv. is on the road after I witnessed another 40th get completly smashed about 4 inches from my bumper Saturday afternoon! (brutal watching that car run into a 80ish dodge van!!!!)
