so yeah i realize this is about gears and their have been way to many threads about gears and somone will probably relocate this one anyways but im gonna ask this question anywyas...ok
#1- how much have you paid for shop installation
#2- im in northern ohio (cleveland area) which speed shops or whatever around here could anyone recomend

i paid 80 bucks but i work for a dealership...
and i dont live in ohio so i dont know about the local spots for you. You should be good with a drivetrain specialist though.

Typical rate is about $500 - $600 installed with parts.

How far are you from Cincy? Modular Depot is there and they could do gears in their sleep.

ahhhh cincy is bout 4-5 hours so just a tad to far for my likeing lol

When I lived in Clev there was a shop in Barberton/Akron (I think) that did only Mustangs...he was priced fairly (under $400 for the labor).

Call 440-646-1957 (Rohe Racing) He's an ex-Ford Parts manager who now sells Mustang parts out of his home (and at trade shows). He'll be a good source for both the parts and for good shops (and maybe a tech or two looking to make a couple of extra bucks on the weekend), He's on Som Center road in Mayfield.
