vette vs srt4 vs my '94 gt
 

well... my best friends pops has a 2000 corvette (ls1)... He's got it supercharged and he's also got real quiet exhaust... its a sleeper...

well my buddy was drivin that and i was drivin my gt... srt 4 rolls up... revs his (sounded like ****) engine and i was like ****!.... it was a turbo... i new i would lose but was like whatever... my buddy will race him next... i'll give him some coffidence...

i was much quicker off the line but he KILLED ME... but it was a turbo...

Next light my bud in the vette pulls up... srt4 revs his engine... my pal did nothin... green light...

It took me 15 minutes to find him...
After the smoke cleared all i saw was this vette almost 1/4 mile in front of the srt4... i had to drive around with the srt4 trailin me until i found my pal...

THEN THE SRT4 KID GOES...
That was cheatin... that thing is stock... all you did was put a chip and nitrous in...

i **** laughin... i said... you didnt hear the super charger in that?

buddy pops the hood... the kid thought it was a turbo...

well we made fun off him til he left 3 min later...

Yes. And they're light as hell.

...And it's only a little 4cyl too

And um a sleeper Corvette? What's up with that? I don't think there is such thing since all of them are fast as hell.

+1 , but yeah SRT-4 have a turbo, but aren't fast at all stock, 0-60 in 5.4 secs...decent 3 years ago...but the new GT's...WRX's and so on are faster... that and in FWD format it's not much of a challenge in the Rally world...so that kinda leaves us with a...what the hell is the point...

by the way SRT-4's are goin out the door pretty soon, seems they haven't been pullin in their fair share of the weight for dodge...maybe the challenger can do that...

it's true that they're going to stop selling them but it's because of warranty work, it's costing dodge a fortune. so much that it's not worth selling the cars anymore.

sleeper as in... it looks stock

yea srts are slow as balls... only thing that is going to hang with your from zero is a stage 2 or 3... and then they will blow up in about a month ... seen it 3 times... SRTs are ga y as f uck... anyway yes they will eat you on the highway.. thats y I only race to 60 or 70 (No TICkets)... and I get to sleep at night ;)

Ha good one man! So basically he is trying to say all Vettes are sleepers lol. I better be careful next time I try to race a Cobra...it might be a sleeper.

srts are slow as piss. vettes are slow too. i bet that blown ls1 vette doesnt run lower than a 12
