well you could go with the crowd like everyone else and get a GT... or you could be a rebel and make your car look wicked sweet instead of preformance and go with the six-gun.

Its your choice. Choose wisely young-blood. :devil2:

Milos 01-05-2006 10:33 PM

You have to get the girls to *look* at the car before you can get em' inside the car. :shifty:

Badfish 01-06-2006 01:50 AM

NoKturnaL 01-06-2006 01:58 AM

Heh....I remember taking my drivers License test.

As soon as the Trooper (driving test guy) got in the car with me...he turned on the radio. And asked me to do the hand signals..and then told me to drive around the block...so i drive around the block ..and then he tells me that I passed.
That was the easiest test ever....I never had to reverse, parallel park or shyt like that...the guy was mad chill. :punk:

Badfish 01-06-2006 02:11 AM

yeah i didnt have to do any of that **** either

GREG@94GT 01-06-2006 05:09 AM

V8 = true American Muscle

madmatt 01-06-2006 08:03 AM

LOL just dont be like me and screw up the driving test on THE LAST PART DAMMIT!

I get in the car, dude is wearing a hawaiian shirt, Im like, oh this is cake. Do the whole test, miss like 2 points or something, get back to the parking lot to parallel park...HIT THE DAMN BARRICADE WITH MY MOMS MIRROR. Instant fail. The dude woulda let me retry it if his bosses window wasnt right in view of us...DAMN I WAS PISSED. So the next time, I come back get some MEAN black woman that just scares the ever livin CRAP outta me. LOL I passed that time though.

Hate to spoil your fun....but you dont really drive a muscle car that ended in the mid 70's. Muscle cars consisted of bigger displacement engines and sounded a hell of alot better then any efi v8.

I don't want a girl that likes me for the car anyway. lol

Mustangs look great in the first place. I'd rather make it fast but I have done a bit of both.

true...
but i'm talkin bout nowadays... with the "ricer" fad and their 4-bangers...

The 4.6 is like an ol 440 hemi...

cars have changed... but they're still american muscle...

Oh... and its more like the 80's... EFI never really came out til the 80's... I think the last year ford was carburated was 86?

I almost bought an ol 68 mustang last summer... 302... auto...
i didnt trust the guy sellin it... that sounded great...

I believe the muscle car fad ended in the mid 70's when they got rid of the bad horsepower. Just incase you didnt know fuel injection has been around for years but its not the same as todays. Corvettes had it for years.

oh yeh i kno... 80's is when it really leaped...

in fact they have mechanical fuel injection... race cars only...

And to tell ya the truth... I think the 60's were America's finest years of car production... both looks and power

95bstallion 01-06-2006 06:01 PM

Congrats on the permit  . I remember that like it was yesterday. So scared for the driving test and everything, but dont worry its not that hard.

Milos 01-06-2006 06:35 PM

No the V6 is kinda like.... that medic guy in Saving Private Ryan... everybody loves him (or in the case of a car, them) but he always ends up dying.

Jack The Ripper 01-06-2006 07:44 PM

Ahhhh I dont understand that whole "The mustang is no loner a muscle car" Bah! Hell yeah it is! Just cause it has changed with the times doesent mean it doesent hold true to its legacy!

Come on noww, No carb = no muscle car? Smaller blocks = No muscle car?

Muscle cars werent big FOR the big engines, or the carbs, they were built for POWER!!!!! And they are STILL built for power!!!!!!! Just cause they went EFI and small blocks doesent mean that they strayed from thier roots, they just evolved with technology!

Does anyone really think that if they knew what they could do with a small block and EFI that they would have been ****ing around with some big ass 427?? Hell no, they would have gone with what is better

So while things might be different, the true nature of the muscle car is there, affordable street power!!! Mustangs do that in spades!

Now i the mustangs went from V8's and V6's to V6's and 4 bangers, i'd agree. But the same idea behind the old mustangs is still alive today in new mustangs. To say that the EFI and smallblock were the death of the Musclecars is just the same crappy old attitude of those old farts who who think anything new sucks.
I tell those dinosaurs to **** off, if they wanna see muscle, lets see that big block 4000lb beast that cant hit a 16second quarter up against my lightly modded GT, he can tell me how nice my rear bumpers is!!!!!

I have all the love in the world for the older muscle cars, but to say the mustang now-a-days is not a muscle car is kind of a slap in the face to mustangs!!!!!! I'll even accept New Muscle and Old Muscle, But Muscle it is! I dont care what some fatass 50 year old bald cynical old fart has to say. They will say the same about EVERYTHING!

THIS AINT MUSIC! MUSIC WAS OLD ROCK! NEW ROCK ISNT MUSIC!
THIS AINT A MOVIE, A REAL MOVIE HAS JOHN WAYNE
KIDS THESE DAYS ARE A BUNCHA PUNKS!
THIS AINT A CAR! ANYTHING AFTER 1970 IS A PIECE OF JUNK!

Old stuff becomes classic, however, that doesent mean the new stuff is crap.

Its all good though, in 30 years when i got more hair in my ears and back than on my hear ill probably be saying the same thing.

Slappy i agree with you on alot of those points. The mustang is todays version of a muscle car, but nothing will ever compare to the cars of the 60-70's they are just my deffinition of a true muscle car. The mustangs have always had a 6 cylinder. No matter if it was a inline 6 or todays 3.8 and 4.0's
