Aftermarket seats

So how do you know what aftermarket seats will work in a stang? Are seats pretty much universally fit? Or is there a certain bolt pattern you look for like on rims?

PureStang 12-24-2005 07:23 PM

i think that they are universial...its just the bracket thats vehicle specific...or at least thats wat i think

madmatt 12-24-2005 07:24 PM

Yea, only the brackets are specific fits. BUT you better be getting the spray first...

When you get seats youll need the sliders as well. they wont hook up to your oem seat sliders.

i drove a 550 rwhp corvette 100 miles to deliver to a customer one day for work. ever been in a car you are scared to know what it does? well that was one of em.

i have a buddy who had similar mods and his vette ran 12.6 on some HEAVY 20x10s. lol

madmatt 12-25-2005 10:57 AM

Hell yea Ive been scared outta my skin once or twice. One was a 600 rwhp cobra (reason i am in a stang now) and the other was a stock 95 viper. Holy hell the torque...

Islander03GT 12-25-2005 11:58 AM

yep. and worth every penny. i've fabbed my own brackets before, took me 2 days to do racing seats that way, working around school and my job.

corbeaus with the brackets can be swapped in less than an hour.
