Finger Smashed
 

Well I had my finger smashed today in a door...before you call me a dumb a$$ it was done by my boss. So I got workers comp on it. :D but damn did it it hurt like a mofo. I mean it hit so hard that half my nail is purple and black, swollen, the cuticle busted out the front of the nail. :mad: looks like someone shot the end of my finger off. The parking spot next to me got painted in red dots. I cursed up a storm. Anyone ever had one. I wonder how long this is gonna take to heal... :confused:

It takes forever to get all the blood to get out..You would think it would be dryed up but it's still wet when it comes out..I think it took honestlly like 6 months maybe more or less don't remember was along time ago to get all the blood to come out..My friend said he just poked a needle a little thru his finger nail and squeezed it so the blood went out..

Hell yeah, when i was like 15 my mom closed the car door on my index finger, i cried like a *****, i was in some serious pain. Took about 4 or 5 months to completely heal, new nail and all..

I dont think i'll loose the nail since it wasnt the whole tip. if you divide your finger nail into 4 sections it the upper right portion so I may get lucky. I dont have 4-5months I have 1 month. to get ready to train the new guys.

I SLAMMED our garage door on my nail once. It was the corner of the door that hit the middle of my finger and busted the nail right off in 2, and left the corner divit in my middle finger. It took about 6 months to grow the entire nail back, then about 3 more for it to grow correctly. when it grew back it grew all wrinkled and funny looking for the first 1/2 of the nail.

yea...i got my hand smashed by a freaking hammer....i missed a nail (like the metal ones not my finger) and bam! i was on the floor in pain...it smashed my finger from the farthest joint from the hand....it bled for so long....i took a needle and poked a hole in to my nail and took all the blood out or most....the next week i lost the nail..it was pretty nasty

Man this sucks I just took the bandage off it clotted and everything but the cuticle piece of meat is over lapping the nail a bit. this is narley looking....lol

one time i was messing around with my ex and i was fake-punching when i punched this wooden thing really hard and fukd my finger up. it got all black and the nail got all deformed. healed in a month.

My gf's ex-bf smashed my finger once in his trunk, haha. let's just say that my sis made him feel real bad and used it to her advantage. Anyways, yea, at least 3 months, could be more like 6

yeah... its amazing how much that hurts. Its like a zit in the nose, or banging yer knee cap, the whole time yer in horrible pain wondering why the hell does it have to hurt THAT much

girly boy. thats nothing. i did more damage to my thumb with a razor knife trying to cut sod one day. it was my first peice laying down, and I still toughed it out after bleeding a litre of blood for 30 minutes.

see that lump that raw cuticle meat.......the nail is driving into it.....

Couldn't resist to tell ya this one ! My x wife and I got into an arguement one night while she was driving the car,after we got home she stopped the car and slammed her door, me being a tuff guy I did the same thing with my door except my finger was in it ! Now she storms off in the house and my door is locked and I m screeming. She thinks Im still yelling about our arguement and wont come out of the house.She finally came out and let me loose, Hospitol trip , 6 stitches , lost nail, took forever to grow back ! yow

I can tell you one thing , before they stitched my finger the doctor said " boy this is going to hurt" I never forgot that,a nurse held one arm and he held the other and stuck a needle in the tip of my finger . I came out of the chair ! That was over 20 yrs ago and my finger is still distorted. Laugh about it now.

If that happens i'm bringing my ever so famous bottle Everclear......and I am getting s*** faced

OK , I've had a few beers, Got hit in the head with a ball bat when I was a kid playing baseball ,{ that maybe whats wrong with me today} broke both ribs in a motorcycle accident , 2 broken toes and actually got a concussion by slamming my head in a car door about a year ago, that one is toooo long toooo explain and last saturday morning , i live in WV, and my father who is 70, flipped his airplane over in the snow while on takeoff , hes ok but plane destoyed , . thats what im dealing with now !

dayum someone has bad luck maybe u forgot to send one of those chain letters to 10 people and that why your luck is bad

ha ha... thats sucks, looks like it hurt...

when i was in hike school I cut my finger, right on that one knuckle in the middle of my left finger... yeh... it sucked... It cut down to the bone, i got stitches, it bled for almost 2 weeks, and i couldn't bend it for like a month and a half... but worst of all i could play my guitar. :mad:

I thought it was really f**ked up. When i smashed mine i lost my whole nail and it took about 4 months before it fully healed.

nothing good is better than something bad.
