M3 vs GTO vs me = owned
 

so somehow, conencidentally, me, a newer (unmodded) m3, a newer modded gto pull up to a stop light

as soon as each of us look over, we know its a race, and im pretty sure im screwed

as soon as the light turns green BAM im the first off the line, with the m3 pullin, the gto for some reason wasnt as fast off the line (mabey no traction) the m3 pulls ahead of me pretty soon, and the GTO f'ing flies past me continuing on with the m3, passing the m3

meanwhile im about 2 bus lengths behind, the gto kept pullin, but damn those m3s are fast


so basically i got effin owned!!! that was kinda my first "real" street race, other ones have just been vs slow civics and cavaliers n stuff

it was hella fun even tho i lost :)

nice job man... i (barely) killed an old gto today, OBVIOUSLY modded.. made my night =D

that gto was prob a brand new one i think gt's can beat the gto model with only 350 hp i think its an 04 or sumthing seeing as they weigh 4000lbs just my thinking though the new 05 and 06's have 400 plus them u ahve no chance against

You should have beaten the M3, contrary to what anyone says, those cars are turds. Ask me how i know.. ;)

nice race, yeah that was prob an 05 gto, I've seen them at the track run low 13's stock, and the new M3's have 333hp, do 0-60 in 4.7 and run the 1/4 in 13.3, so you were doomed from the start, but that makes it fun!

yeah my friend bought a 05 gto 400hp 400 power tor. they are really fast i lost by 5 cars when i raced him.. i raced a cobra last night and got smoked lol...

HEHEHE....I know...you can have a really bad ride, but if you cant drive it, its worthless...I raced an 04' vette this afternoon, and after "2" lights worth somehow I was neck and neck with the guy. He should have beat me period...My girlfriend was crapping in her pants...she almost was in tears she was so scared..hehe I felt bad, I had to promise never to race with her in the car again after this round. But it felt soooooo good.... :D

It was either an auto, or he couldnt drive. That vette would of smoked your ass if they knew how to drive it.

I took a brand new 04 z06 out one time to fill it up with gas for work. First gear redlines at 55mph and it sure pushes your lungs into your spine. I floored the car off the line to 90 mph and I still had some gear left in 2nd. granted a z06 has 405hp and its 100 more than a regular pre-style vette, but they are the same cars. I was like...

last weekend i was cruisin home w/ a buddy of mine in the car... we end up gettin stuck behind some kid in a lexus IS... this thing had the ground effects, coffee can, big crome wheel, fully plainted jet black... I must say it didnt look too bad...

well this kid insisted on doin 25mph in a 45... i guess he though he was funny... we were right behind and there were like 20 cars behind us...

so we come upon a stop light... he stays right I go left... We sittin next to him listening to I'm gonna walk all over you by ACDC (how appropriate) and he starts revving his engine... my buddy like you're gonna pass him right? I'm like, I dont know, I need a clutch bad...

Light turns green, we're dead even, my tires are spinnin,... then tires catch and i blew by him... look in my rear view mirror and he was like 8 cars paces back...

so then i slowed to 20mph and gave him a taste of his own medicine... he was pissed... lmao

The new GTO's definetly have the power 400hp is nothin to play with when our little GTs are rated @ 260Hp :( The M3s thats another badass ride 333hp those cars can move I 've been actually lookin at some this past weekend for the wife. We test drove one there quick! just expensive as HELL!... looked at an 02 & 03 35k+ :eek:

Yeah, the German's do make some damn fine cars.

I was on the freeway the other day and some young hot ass blonde chick (maybe 22 or 23) in a Mercedes SLK55 AMG comes flying up next to me and paces me for a while and then she would speed up, then slow down......so she wanted to race.....anway, she looked over at me and so I kicked it down to 3rd gear and I'm assuming she down shifted also.....we both took off like crazy....a few seconds after I shifted to 4th I shut it down and she took off. We were pretty even when I slowed down, but I'm pretty sure she would have walked me pretty good if we would have kept going....I think those cars are rated at 355hp or something and I'm sure it's lighter than my car......it sucked cause that was the first car to try an race me since I got the mach, and she had a faster car! ha ha ha.....oh well, she was hot though!
