Imports vs. Domestics @ MIR today
 

Was at Maryland intl. raceway today for the world cup finals, Domestics were kickin sum but! one guy Terrance Hicks had a twin turbo 99-04 mustang drag car and called out the Toyota Solara of Paul Efantis(Lucas Oil racing) they ran best 2 out of 3...1st run Efantis let hicks hammer it down the track to see what he had...7.40 pass. 2nd time Efantis raped him with a 7.1 to Hicks 7.6. 3rd time Efantis got him once more with a 7.4 to a 7.5. It was great grudge match even though the Solara was a inline 6cyl with smaller turbo's lol. Also a fox body Stang with a sweet candy clue paint job went blasting down the track but got out of the grove and didnt lift and lost control smashing the wall and almost went over it, along w/ a GSXr 1000 that flipped to, that guy got tore up right bad, over all it was pretty kool to see a bad**s twin turbo mustang get down.

Nice. i've been there...my boy did a couple races down the trac in his WRX, Lol, Washington DC's gift to the racing community of the area...If you go down there in December you gotta let me know, i'd def. be down for a visit...

I went there a few years ago. My Turbo Civic was in the shop(Accident) so I took the Rental car and raced on the domestic side :P It was the most fun Ive ever had in a Rental
