water restrictions coming

Here in the sandhills of NC we are in a friggin drought (again). Much of the eastern half of NC there are water restrictions already in place. We are next I'm sure. Water grass right now is on odd even days. NO WASHing cars. Arrgh. That sucks. I wash my stang almost every weekend. This is gonna suck. And no rain in the monthly forecast to ease the drought. Maybe I can wash her with dirty bath water. Big fines if caught violating the rules..

A good detail spray could be your best friend.

Yep. I got some macquires final touch spray. It really works good for getting stuff off. Plus I'm getting a 55 gallon rain water Barrel, complete with spigot and screen for the top. I have a corner on my roof that pours water (when and if it does rain) like a waterfall. No worries here.. :)

Gallons of drinking water is cheap at most grocery stores. Id use that to wash and rinse my car.

madmatt 11-07-2005 04:54 AM

LOL the restrictions will be over soon, no need to go buy the evian to wash your car lol. We had that here a couple years back, kinda sucks, but not that big of a deal.

oohsoobad2 11-08-2005 12:03 AM

Im not talkin about the expensive ****.. At most grocery stores around here you can fill up a gallon milk jug with drinking water for like $0.39

rebelyell 11-08-2005 12:40 AM

Yeah it aint gonna be a problem. I'm gonna keep my stang clean. We just got annexed into my city and everyone is like (you can't do this and you can't do that). I hate it already. We might get some measureable rainfall this month. Fayetteville, NC is growing and the rules are changing. I hope they repave my street so I can lay some 50 ft. black marks on brand new blacktop. LOL :D

I just love living between all of these lakes full of water!

rebelyell 11-08-2005 09:11 PM

No Chit man. Them are some huge lakes. Never saw one in person but even on an atlas map they look like oceans. LOL. You guys need to run a pipe to us down south. :D

That's going to cost ya! :D

Our great lakes have some of the best water around, and that comes at a premium to you!
