Shift Ball??
 

j/w which shifter ball you guys think i should get??? i was thinking the mach 1, but i dunno how hot it will get in the 100+ texas heat?? what do you guys recommend?? cuz that the one i think looks the best.

I have the bullitt silver shift knob, It ****ing sucks, When my car's been in the sun all day and i get into it and i touch it, it burns the phuck out of my hand. but yeah, you cant really go wrong when it comes to shift knobs, buy whatever you want.

I have the 35th ball (basically the same as a bullitt) and it gets hot as hell in the summer, and cold enough for break your fingers off in the winter. Id stick to something like the MGW knobs that are that composite material or the FRPP leather wrapped knobs.

i was looking for like a cover to put on your shift ball(like over night or during the day) but i can find anywhere that sells them. but i know they make them.

Yes, it will get hot as hell! Mine gets hot out when it's only 80-85 degrees so I can't imagine how it would get in Texas heat! It does look cool though

I have the same shift knob, and it gets DAMN cold already, and really hot during the summer, but damn does it look good with the matching shift ring...

Dude, just get some sweet driving gloves and you'll be just fine! ha ha

i just ordered the composit shift knob with 5 spd logo should be good anyone else have this its on the bottom right of shift knobs on this site

Dude its not worth it, it discolors fast, Like right when i bought mine, it was nice and shiney, Now its like flat grey turning into a dark grey almost black

If you get one, get a sock to put over it in the heat.

really??? has anybody else had this trouble?? ive never heard of them discoloring.

Use one of those Crown Royle Bags, everyone has a few of those lying around...hiccup,hiccup,burrrp...im a drunk what do i know...just kidding.

well just ordered the mach 1 shift ball and shifter gasket. steeda tri ax is on the way allready. anyone have this shifter?? how big of a difference does it make??

Any shifter makes a big difference over stock..It is so much more fun to drive. I just put in my mgw and love it..The tri ax wouldof been my second choice

I have that same set up and it makes a big difference! You'll love how short it is.

a baby sock works well

i just use a cover from a golf club. They work fine. I might switch to a crown bag though. lol.....god i love that stuff.....it's all about the crown and coke these days
