Help with 96 chevy cavalier...
The other day we changed the battery on my little bros 96 cavalier and when we started it up the factory radio/cd player won't work any more.. ...it displays loc on the screen. ..is there any way to get the unlock code without taking it to GM and have them give us the code for $60 bucks?
Thanks.. Miguel |
I don't think there is any other way.

I called the dealership that I bought it from and they called GM for me when it happened to my GMC Jimmy. The code was 1415...crazy how I remember that, it was like 2 years ago.

You need to have the code for the car. Look in the car manual or with the paperwork. It should be in there somewhere. If that fails, it has to be reset by the dealership or someone with a tech II

buy $60 bucks worth of TNT and blow the entire car up. get stang. problem solved
or just go to wally world and buy a cheap ass aftermarket, or even better, time to upgrade it. |
