What do you think of these seats?

Anyone know anything about these seats http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NETAM...06988678QQrdZ1 , looking to replace the stockers. Suggestions for other seats are appreciated, just not to pricey.

madmatt 10-19-2005 05:26 PM

Negative ghostrider. The Rice pattern is full. Instead, go with some Corbeaus. They are relatively cheap, and provide great support/comfort.

MineralGT 10-19-2005 05:26 PM

They look like ****.

dsdaddy 10-19-2005 05:29 PM

My mom always taught me that if you can't say something nice about something, then don't say anything at all, so...

foncarelli 10-19-2005 05:35 PM

Naw you cant do those.

DarkSith 10-19-2005 05:41 PM

Well scratch those. Did'nt someone post some pics of there stang with corbearu A-4s, or was I just high cause I can't find that thread anywere.

MattJ 10-19-2005 08:13 PM

only seats to consider are corbeau, recarro, or sparco.

madmatt 10-19-2005 08:14 PM

Islander, now that youve had em a while, whats your longterm impression of them. They look great man.

MineralGT 10-19-2005 08:15 PM

The driver seat isnt upright, just the passenger. That was right after I put them in so they aren't adjusted to where I like them.

I love the seats, the only downside is they "creak" a bit compared to the stock seats, and you feel the road through them more.. both results of less padding. I think they're comfy as hell though and love how they hold me when I canyon carve. When I get another car, this will be the first mod.

DarkSith 10-20-2005 11:19 AM

Ok, I've narrowed my choice down to three. Help decide between these...

1. A4 in suede: http://corbeau.com/products/a4/a4.shtml#

2. CR1 in Black: http://corbeau.com/products/cr1/cr1.shtml#

3. TSR in leather: http://corbeau.com/products/trs/trs.shtml#

Islander03GT 10-20-2005 11:29 AM

I have the cloth A4's. I couldn't justify the price for the leather ones. I think they're the best choice for a Mustang in terms of sizing.

My advice: find a local Corbeau seller who has the seats on premesis. Sit in them, and pick the one you like the best. Its the only way to really tell if you like how it feels. I'd never buy a seat without sitting in it first.

No.2 looks sharp but you cant go wrong with three.

Badfish 10-20-2005 02:08 PM

like the a4 alot..wish i had money! damn bumpers!

macs03GT 10-21-2005 10:46 PM

I work for a Mitsubishi dealership and the EVO has some of the nicest recarro. I honestly would go with those. I sit in those things and feel myself heading to heaven. LOL

Yeah same with teh WRX's they got some nice seats...to bad the doors feel like paper thin...

I really liked those A4's in Suede? Awww SKEET!

madmatt 10-22-2005 05:43 AM

Id go trs, then a4. But, Islander is exactly right, dont ever buy a seat before you sit in it, caress it, feel it....uh, I mean.

Evo's have great seats, but aftermarket recaros cost twice what Corbeau's do.

Carioca 12-12-2005 10:53 AM

The suede seats are very nice. The suede is such a good looking seat. Not only do they have the A4 but they will have the Legacy, CR1 and others in suede. I think that will be in the short future though.

MattJ 12-12-2005 11:19 AM

You can have the 2000 Cobra R recarro seats for 2500 from FORD. I think you can find em online for 1700 for both.
lol

I know there are several people with summit racings vinyl racing seats over on stangnet and they seem to be very happy with them and the price is great at 220 a piece for black. They look nice and supposed to be great quality vinyl that is close to a leather.
