that's all depending on a LOT of factors. like down payment, term, interest, msrp, warranty, etc. My car's payment could be $600 if I wanted to go 4 years, i'd pay $600. just all depends

I still have a few more years left to go on my payments. I will be damn glad when she is 100 % mine.

Slither 09-15-2005 09:32 PM

I should have mine paid off by March or April. It would be sooner than that but I am going on vacation to NYC a week before Christmas so I am saving money for that instead of paying extra on the car right now. My payments are $311 a month. The loan was for $14,000 and I got it in 2003..pretty damn good to get it paid off this fast..

spike_africa 09-15-2005 10:00 PM

mines payed off, traded my truck(99 f150 loaded with mods out the ass) for it plus 7k in cash i saved up.

dannyb785 09-15-2005 10:12 PM

Graduation present from my inlaws to my wife 6 years ago. So since day 1 $0 it cost us. I would of liked to of sold it and gotten a Cobra but my wife is too attached to it.

Islander03GT 09-16-2005 09:28 AM

I pay 270.00 a month. I've got about 3 years left. Once I'm out of school and have a "real" job I'll probably pay it off faster.

I feel ya Islander. Being in school really puts a damper on being able to pay off a car loan quickly.

I've still got a couple of years left on my 96 (bought last year). Will be graduated hopefully over the summer or definately by december next year and will be able to go ahead and get rid of that loan. Right now, I pay like right at $200 for the loan, then about $70 for insurance (paid every 6 months but that is basically what it would be if paid monthly).

Bought my 01 in June 04 for $12,700. Paid the note down to $5k in a year. Refinanced at a lower rate, payments are $120/mo now. I'll have it paid off by Dec 05. My car insurance is higher than my payment, still under $300 for both.

Finish my Masters Degree in April, a yellow 05 or 06 GT will be my graduation gift to me!
