lowering concerns
I just put on my 18x9' Black Saleen wheels and i feel teh need to lower my car. I'm looking for about 1-1.5' of drop. Does anyone have and opinions on springs. I was leaning towards Steeda Sports. Also, will i have to replace the shocks/struts for and 1-1.5' drop? thanks, Kris

I don't think you should to replace those. I have the Steeda Sports, they are good for daily driver and the usual racing stuff but they aren't as stiff as I would like them to be.

ya i was just wondering what everyone out there is running on their cars and what they like... Also i saw your post about buying the black saleen wheels for you car. I just bought them off MT and I absoutly LOVE them. They are just gorgeous. I guarentee that you will just love them on your car too. What do you mean by not stiff enough for you for the steeda sports?????

Get the H&R's You wont be disapointed.

I mean, I still have more body roll than I would want but that's just me.

I'm running an Eibach Pro-Kit. I changed the shocks and struts, but that was more to get better ones.

I love my steeda sports/mach one shocks and struts combo.

i have bbk and kyb struts/shock not very much body roll at all

I have the Steeda Sport springs, bump steer kit, X2 ball joins, and Tokico shocks & struts, as well as Pro3i C&C plates… handling has improved a great deal since just lowering the car – just watch out for pot holes and bumps in the road. With 4” of clearance under the kmember… you’ll hit a lot. Oh, I have 18” wheels too…
Very little roll, great for auto cross and normal street use. Shaker  |
