bought me a gopro hero hd 2
 

i went to bestbuy last night and bought the outdoor package of the new gopro hero video camera as well as the suction cup mount that comes with the motorsports package. i figured it would be a better buy than buying a fisheye lens and waiting until i could afford an expensive dslr.

specs: 1080p - 30fps / 720p - 30,60fps; 11,8,5mp camera; 170, 127 fov (certain settings only); shoots hd video, photos. oh did i mention it shoots time lapse?

0.5, 1, 2, 5, 10, 30, 60 second intervals on either camera setting. can't wait to try it out today. if it gets warmer here in ny, i was going to hit a mountain bike trail but it's currently low 30's (although i might not have to worry about mud if everything's semi-frozen)

anyways just sharing an update into my collection of stuff. i plan on making videos using my d60 as well as the gopro cam.

Very nice! Thought about getting one myself for shit like skiing, flying (I'm a pilot), racing, boating, hunting, etc. Can't beat it I guess for active shoots like that. Get some video going!

i'm trying to but i'm too noob at sony vegas. :(
