What is a good reliable car/suv?

Well my wife's sable is good and all but it already has 163K miles on it and we want to trade it in + a good down payment for a new or used car/suv(with low miles though)

The car/suv could be a price range from 15k-25k

Wont get it for about a year though

Well you need to decide what you want first. If you don't really have a need for an SUV then I say get a car, but if you'll take advantage of the space and usage of a SUV then go for that. We have a 08 Toyota Highlander AWD, and it's been a great car so far. It has the 3rd row seating so it seats 7, has plenty of space to haul things when you put the seats down. Drives real smooth too. I also love my 08 Subaru WRX. Took a trip to SoCal this past weekend and it rained down there all weekend. And when it rains down there, it's a flooded mess. The WRX was awesome in the rain. If I had taken the mustang, I'm sure things wouldn't have turned out so nicely.haha.

Anyways, since I'm going off on a tangent here, just do some research and go test drive. Most anything has to be better than the sable though. haha. My friend had a sable that he loved, but it go totaled and now he has a 07 Audi A4.
