Whatcha sellin

Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think putting a picture of P. Diddy is going to have people from this forum flocking to your webinar. Just a thought.

I've wasted enough of my time with them QuickStar a few years ago. My friend came home from the miitary not too long ago and tried to get me onboard with MonaVie. I politely declined.

Steeda97 08-10-2010 08:39 AM

The P.Diddy thing was a joke. And nope, not multi-level marketing. But i'm not going to get into it. If you want to be presented with an opportunity, then get on the webinar. If not, then thats fine with me. lol.

Never heard of either. The only one i've ever heard of that you guys are talking about is amway. I've only met one person who did amway. Needless to say he did not have a good experience lol.

just googled: the former owner of amway is the owner of quick star. lawls. the funny thing is that they promote it being multi-level marketing. like it doesn't have a terrible reputation or anything. ratards.

Lazerred6 08-10-2010 08:43 AM

I can almost guarantee that more people would log on if you at least tell what your angle is

"Mystery meeting" just doesn't cut it for most people

I thought everybody knew that

quixtar (proper spelling) is Amway

they got bad press so they changed the name in the US

I don't have an angle. I'm not selling anything. The only thing I am offering is an opportunity to listen to what they can do, and what its about. I'm not asking anyone to sign their lives away. lol. If i came on here and said, hey, pay a thousand dollars and sign your name here, here and here, then i'll tell you whats up, then i'd understand. All I offered was someone to log into a webinar, and listen. Then make an EDUCATED decision on whether to say yes, i'm interested or no, i'm not. Thats it lol.

I was never interested in them, so i never learned about them. I wonder why they got bad press? Maybe because they are ripping people the fuck off. Another instance on the rich get richer, and the ones trying to get rich, get fucked.

r3dn3ck 08-10-2010 10:17 AM

amway and quixtar aren't really "ripoffs" they're false hope sellers. Amway Global makes some fine products but they market and distribute in possibly the most unscrupulous way they can and the pyramid scheme back-end doesn't help.

Amway changed its name because of bad press and lawsuits, then screwed up the quixtar business and now is changing its name back to Amway.

Steeda97: Right now I'm calling this a commercial advertisement. Please disclose the exact nature of the opportunity or I'll close the thread. Right now you've got all my alarm bells going off or I wouldn't pull that card on you but I am. Please choose.

Steeda97 08-10-2010 11:57 AM

I sent you a PM. I don't see how its a commercial advertisement, its just a frigging webinar, lol.

BLazE 08-10-2010 12:48 PM

Steeda, how much money have you made from this company so far? It's been about a month hasn't it?

Steeda97 08-10-2010 01:11 PM

It's been about 5 months. I will not tell you how much I have made on here, as that is a personal question, but I will tell you I am in the black. However, anyone who has seen the presentation can estimate how much i have made. Its pretty laid out there. Its also not much of a personal thing, it is very much a team effort. I am in a team of highly successful invididuals with their business, and we are creating an even more successful partnership of businesses.

r3dn3ck 08-10-2010 02:03 PM

Steeda's PM to me is going to remain confidential out of respect for him. However, my reply will be public. It has been lightly redacted to remove references to specific information from Steeda's original message to me:

I require that you answer the question in the forum thread openly and honestly. Tell us the name of the business at minimum. I'll leave it to the individual member to Google it or not but they must have the opportunity to do so without committing time or traffic to your efforts to populate a webinar, however well intentioned.

This is not a slight against you or an implication of suspicion directed at you. I'm doing my job as a mod to protect everyone. If that hurts you, sorry but too bad.

Please comply promptly.

I'm not hiding anything. Here is my original message. I've had a similar conversation with Jack.

I understand the whole issue with this, but to put me on blast is completely unnecessary. All I did was offer people to watch a webinar, thats it. I am in no means advertising, pressuring, or "scheming" any one.

Jumping to conclusions is what you're doing. I have no desire to rip off anyone in the mustang community, or anyone for that matter. I am not asking anyone to sign up, or do anything, just giving people an opportunity to make an educated decision.

It is a presentation on the webinar. It tells you exactly what the business is, how to build your own, and everything you'd ever want to know.

If you're that serious about it being a "scheme", I will call you on the phone, right now and give you a link to a presentation and tell you about it all in 15 minutes. Then you can do whatever you want in the thread, you can say whatever you want, but I'd much rather you not accuse me of things.

I haven't said one word about it, and I was accused of promoting multi-level marketing.

Unfortunately, there are so many bad people out there, that when anyone offers an opportunity to help out others, it is immediately shot down.

Steeda97 08-10-2010 02:46 PM

What the business is, what company it is, and all your questions can be answered here.

HOWEVER. It is must better understood when talked through it.

http://www.melaleuca.com/MyMelaleuca...gWellness.aspx

Use the guest passcode "Melaleuca"

This is also important.

http://www.melaleucaawards.com/index.php

The company was placed in the Better Business Bureau Hall of Fame. For any doubters, this should say something.

It is an all natural, green company. They personally manufacture, and sell healthy products for your home. You as the business owner ($29 dollars to start your own), simply refer customers. You tell them what its about, how they can save money, and they become a member. You do not have inventory, you do not sell products, you simply refer customers. They can cancel at any time, and 95% of customers remain customers after their first month. Or you can help others build their own business. By teaming up, or teaching them personally. It is very much a team effort. Everyone is out to help eachother, there are events every day in your area. Free trainings, and dinners. etc.

It is truly an amazing thing as both a customer and business owner. The products are exceptional. Safe, non-toxic products. They are also cheaper than Walmart, etc, and last longer. I use them all over my house, my choice to use them.

r3dn3ck 08-10-2010 03:03 PM

Thank you! 1 more question and I'll stop haranging on you:

What do you get for every person that attends the webinar using the access code that you provided? You can answer "something" or "nothing" if you like as I don't care about the details but I think it's fair to have you spill that much.

FWIW, I looked into the company for everyone. It does not appear to qualify as a "scam". It's seemingly legit and the products have a good rep.

Nothing. To be perfectly honest, it is my friend Kellie doing the presentation. She is a much better speaker (shes a professional speaker) than i am. The only thing i'd expect is if anyone is interested, that they'd possibly come to me to sign them up and i'd guide them in the right direction if they are interested in being a customer, or building a business.

I limit what i say, because i'd rather have her explain it. Sometimes when you give little bits of information, it gets misconstrued. I'd rather someone get the full understanding.

r3dn3ck 08-10-2010 03:20 PM

thank you. Posting blessed.

Steeda97 08-10-2010 03:38 PM

So I'll hear you on the webinar tonight? lol.

whitestang04 08-10-2010 05:52 PM

Steeda I hope it all works out for you. So far from the little bit that you've said (I didn't go to the link) it sounds very similar to the Amway, Mona Vie, ect............. pitches I've heard in the past. I just hope you don't waste a bunch of time with little or no return like I did. :t:

Demetri X 08-10-2010 06:12 PM

Melaleuca is an awesome company. I didnt know there was a rewards thing or anything about making money doing what Steeda is doing.

My step-dad's mom always got a lot of her soaps and bathroom type stuff from Melaleuca and it worked really well. The only face soap I use comes from the company, and its the best out there. I've had my grandmom order stuff for me on there a lot and I have had no problems with any of their products. Their products seem to be cheaper versions of expensive brand name products that everyone knows about like ProActive and stuff like that.

Might have to look into this...

I think it's a little ironic that you have such a negative oppinion of Amway when they are in essence the same type of thing that you are promoting

they are also ranked A+ by the BBB so I highly doubt that they are ripping people of

http://www.bbb.org/western-michigan/...da-mi-11002927

I'm not saying that to knock what you are promoting if they are like Amway that's not a negative for me I used to be part of Amway and it worked for me for awhile.

What I am trying to say is that these types of companies can work and as long as you know getting into them that it is by no means a way to get rich quick and that they take years of work to build up you will do alright if you stay on top of it.

There is no get rich quick. It takes work. I have to disagree that it takes years. I know someone personally, that in the last 17 months has made over 457,000 dollars. Thats by no means "rich" but thats a pretty sweet for a residual income.

Can you genuinely have an opinion when you haven't been explained the business structure at all? It is not like Amway. One of our event managers has been doing this for around 5 years, and he makes more than the person that enrolled him. Double what he makes. Its all about effort, and anyone can make as much as they want to. They don't make the person higher than them richer, its the other way around with this company. The higher guys, help out the lower guys.

You can keep trying, but you won't "uncover" any scam, or change my mind, as this is what I'M doing. It is working for me, and it has worked for some (that i know personally) as long as 15 years.

Amway is a scam. It's a way for those that were there first to take advantage of those that came later. There is no real potential for the profits they promise to any newcomer. It's not the products they make that are a scam, it's their business model. There's a reason they call it a pyramid SCHEME

That and the bit about effort is the ticket.

There's a fine line between a craptastic s[cam, heme] and a strange but legitimate business model.

And no I won't ever be involved. I don't have enough time in my life for dealing with it. Besides, I have other irons in the fire to provide me with long term income.
