Convert the binary string 1 1 0 0 0 1 0 1 to:

Hexadcimal and decimal.

Now, I know what your talking about. I just now opened it.

We do stuff like that in computers.

It goes like this.

128 - 64 - 32 - 16 - 8 - 4 - 2 - 1

And you just add the places that have a 1. The places that have a 0 are off, so their values are 0.

Black Sunshine 05-11-2010 08:32 AM

Fuck math.

krenogin 05-11-2010 08:38 AM

Haha well thats binary computer language..

If you know file sizes on your computer think of it this way.

You have 8 of those BITS in a byte, then you have 1024 bytes (those strings of 8) in a kilobyte, then 1024 KB in 1 MB, then 1024MB in a GB, then 1024 GB in 1 Terabyte. So that gives you an idea how many numbers your computer processes.
