What Are You Scared Of?
 

So, I think there was a fear thread here before, but I can't find it, so this one will have to do. Here are some things I'm scared of:

1. Spiders/Scorpions
2. Bees/Wasps/Hornets
3. Heights
4. Flying
5. Fish hooks


So, that means I am an arachnophobic, apiophobic, acrophobic, aviophobic, and there is no word for the phobia of fish hooks because it is probably rare, haha.

Fat women falling out of the sky

spiders, scorpions, heights, certain ways of dying, poisonous snakes. You know the typicall scare the fuck out of you shit.

I think I can safely say that could be a fear that belongs to everyone, except of course, for men who like fat women.

Stupid people in large groups

I'm afraid of stupid people alone, too. It should be legal to kill them.

Generally when they are alone they only pose an immediate threat to themselves. When they start to gather a force similar to gravity begins to manifest and the groups start to grow. This is when things can get ugly

I should also add stupid people with authority to the things I am scared of

Spiders and not a big Roller Coaster guy.... I always think they are going to break....

Russophobia- Fear of Russians.

I don't do roller coasters, either. Not because I'm scared of them, but because I would get sick. I get motion sickness easily. I never ride carnival/fair rides, though. If it can be assembled and disassembled in a short amount of time, I will not even think about it.

Yeah I just dont trust them. Now I can be talked into but it takes alot and then i get super nervous when i get close to getting on. other rides done bother me but the Stupid Roller Coasters do.

That really sucks val, roller coasters are actually extremely fun, if you werent sick of course. Roller coasters can be some of the most fun i can have :)

I'm claustrophobic.... MAJORLY.

I always have nightmares of getting stuck in vents. Or under things like houses and not being able to escape.

Aside from spiders, I fear little asian women driving minivans while talking on the phone.

I'm an arachnophobic, but that's about it. I'm afraid I will end up as a loser in life, like not getting into dental school or get a good job, stuff like that.

I just thought of another; I have a fear of the unknown, I guess one could say. It's not necessarily of everything unknown, so I don't know exactly how to put it.

To explain it the best I can: I'm an excessive worrier. I worry about things, to the point of where my nerves are shot to hell, i.e. can't eat, can't sleep, can't concentrate on anything that isn't what I'm currently worried about, etc. If I don't know what's going on or if I'm not in control of a situation, I feel this feeling of utter helplessness, which ultimately leads to my worrying. It's always about stupid shit, too. Things that I can rationalize and tell myself I don't need to worry about, yet I continue to worry. I always think 'what if this happens' or 'what if that happens', when in reality, the things I'm worried about are hardly ever worth the stress I put myself and my mind through. I'm a fan of internal rationalization, so I'm still trying to fix that part of myself, because I fucking hate it. It is the one fear I have that I am not able to rationalize so that makes it even more difficult to overcome.

Man, the hell with that. Bogyphobia is the fear of boogers.

jeez ppl...its not a spider...or a scorpion...its its own species of arachnid... and... Its mandibles are so small that it couldnt bite you if it wanted to. Those arms look mean, but they are only for grabbing and couldnt stand a chance against a mouse, let alone a human.

Bear Grylls ate one of them in one of his shows. They also ate them on Fear Factor many years ago.

its ugly...yeah...but I would fear many bugs over this one...namely ones with poison.

I hate spiders... well not being near them, or seeing them... just that terrible sensation when they crawl on the back of your hand. I dealt with it all summer at work cleaning old boats. They love those nice dark corners

they are 100% harmless if they dont give you a fucking heart attack if they land on you. I think it is the ugliest god damn thing to ever disgrace the earth with its presence.
