Super Bowl Sunday, Yea. Was gonna cook some ribs and drink cold beer, and watch the game. NOT. My boss is on vacation and my Plant Manager decided to chew some ass and I was next in line. E-mail got out that we aren't keeping up with production good enough without working 7 days again. BS, I told him, to no avail. I'll be at work for the Super Bowl, and for the Daytona 500 next weekend. Usually the 7 days don't start this early. It's gonna be a long year and I'm gonna try to keep my composure. LOL. Fck the super bowl, it's overrated anyway. And I don't even like BBQ Ribs and cold beer.. :rolleyes:

That sucks sir. I guess the only bright side is that you have a secure job and have plenty of hours. I'm always reminded of the place I worked at where it was my job to hire and fire. We had a lot of people looking for work, but none to give out.

Don't worry, super bowl is boring as hell this year. It's a chore for me to pay attention to it right now.

I've been doing homework the entire time it's been on TV, I haven't watched hardly any of it.

Ha Ha, Fck em. I worked until 6:00 amd shutdown and sent my people home. Made it in time for the kick off. Let em fuss at me tomorrow. And yes I am thankful for a good job that shows no sign of slowing down.. :). But everyone needs to have Sunday off IMHO.. :t:

Sucks man. In my old position I had to work on my birthday and most to all holidays. Of course I could make up the holidays by taking a day off. But it sucked.

Well hell I was on call all weekend for my job, was up till 2am friday/sat morn and it sucked, but its better than having no job at all!

And the Super Bowl I think rocked pretty good, The Who wasnt too bad at there age either!
