Spinners on the way... + 1 question

Woo hoo! I just ordered a set of the spinners for the bullitt wheels! I'll post pics when they come in...

Also, my buddy is looking at buying my old boss's 99 cobra vert. If he gets it I think we are going to go in halfies on a tuner. Which one would you guys recommend? How much difference can you feel (a 1-2 hp gain isn't worth the money to me since the car never sees the track)

He also suggested that I sell my 88 iroc and buy a s/c for my stang. What do you think, trade my first car ever for a supercharger?

1988 IROC-Z maroon
305 V8 (15,000 on motor)
Headman headers
Catco Converter
flowmaster cat back (3 chamber)
Centerline Billett sabre 17x8 all the way around
B&M ratchet shifter
92 style wing
TPI air foil
Smog delete
lots of little stuff....

if you're talking about a hand held tuner im almost positive that you can only tune one car at a time. it stores the stock tune in it's memory and you cant tune another car until you put the stock tune back on the first car.

and about the iroc, show some pictures of the car. sounds nice but if it doesnt look/run nice then get rid of it and get the supercharger.

What kinda spinners did you get?

madmatt 08-01-2005 11:45 AM

Keep the camaro for a beater. Then, save up for a supercharger, then when something breaks, drive the camaro until its fixed. I wish I had NEVER sold my first car.

Those are the ones...I think they'll look slick.

BTW I was not aware you could only store one car in a tuner at once.

FritoBandito 08-01-2005 12:53 PM

oh yeah, the camaro runs like a striped arse monkey for a 305 tpi (Faster that a 5.0 auto, but 5.0 sticks eat its lunch) , has a few dents buts looks pretty good overall, I'll take some pics.

Where you from in OK?

WaterDR 08-01-2005 09:34 PM

Yup, tuners can ONLY be used on one car at a time. You can use it on a second car only if you return the tune to stock on the first car. They get "VIN Locked". However, you can use a tuner to clear codes from a different car, but that's it.

Back on topic (lol).....

You know, I like those spinners. I have DD Bulets and I think they would look great. BUT, call me silly, I wonder how the spinners would look in the back ONLY with the DD and just leave the fronts alone. I think the spinners would fill-in the rim in the back and look cool that way.

Anyone with me? Or, would that just look dumb?

Lances03SVT 08-02-2005 07:46 PM

I like them too,but I think you would need them on all 4 wheels MT to look right.

madmatt 08-03-2005 05:48 AM

I agree, it would look like someone ganked your spinaahs if you only put on two

FritoBandito 08-03-2005 05:52 AM

definitely going on all 4 wheels.

timstpetefl 08-03-2005 06:20 AM
