El miercoles pasado el profesor de espanol nos dijo que nosotros ibamos a tener un examen la semana siguiente. Despues de clase, (yo) decidi ir a la biblioteca a estudiar. Habia muchos estudiantes alli que ___________________, o consultando el catalogo. A las seis de la tarde regrese a casa.

Something about the professor's test and you study alot in the library and read books until it gets late and you go home. I don't know exactly would go in the blank but you've got it figured out. Tell me how close I got. I studied spanish for two years in highschool, but that was nearly six years ago.

I grew up in SoCal, don't really "speak" spanish but you sorta do by default if you grow up in LA. I got the point about the test and going to the library to study and there were a bunch of students there and then the last sentence confused me because it went from a narrative of I did this and my teacher did that to "GO HOME AT 6!" There should be some possessive in that last sentence.

It's estudiaban (studied) or estaban estudiando (were studying).
