Went for a test drive today

wanted to test drive a new 2010 GT and actually get on the highway. So I went to a dealership I didnt work at since all the sales people at my dealership knew I wasnt in a market for a car. So I get to the other dealership and since I cant drive standard well enough to be on the highway It had to be an auto, so I wasnt able to drive the grabber blue GT. So then he says what about an 09 I say sure. Then he comes backs and tells me that it would have to be an 08 pre owned So I agree. As im walking out he says its red and I dont recall seeing a red GT on the lot. so we start walking to the car and sure enough its a v6. I was like this is a v6 and he says they drive the same.... I reply well I have a v6 and looking to upgrade. He says oh. Needless to say I didnt get to actually drive a GT today FML. Guess Ill have to call back when they actually get an auto GT in or I learn how to better drive a standard. FML

How do they expect to sell cars if they don't have any to test drive?

+1..what are you doing with your life man? you haven't driven a car until you've driven a manual.

The v6 and gt driving the same lol. What a dumb ass.

I've driven my buddies 07 gt a few times. Basic bolt on car, really fun car to drive around.

So what a car you have no intensions of buying is not a good car to practice on?

Driving a stick on the highway is easier than driving it on the streets. I've seen the same 4 or 5 2010 Mustangs out front at my dealership ever since they got them.
