MAKE THE RAIN STOP!

Anyone else getting as much rain as us in TN??? I swear, it seems like it's never going to stop!

Rain for the last 4 days or so, off and on pretty much all last month with the exception of one weekend, didn't rain today, but it's about to start again tonight. It seems like ever since I got the Hoosiers it has not stopped raining, I just want to get some track time before the races at Beech Bend in a couple of weeks and our first viable 1/4mi. track day is Friday.

Weather, get the message! April showers bring May Drag racing, Damnit!

As we've been saying on all of the local forums. "Rain, rain go away, let the Ponies come out and play!"

Took these pictures around the beginning of last month, it's pretty much looked the same ever since then, but with grass growing about 2' and looking extra shitty in the ditch.

The water has been as close as about 3" from my shed at times, thank god it has a cement slab, or it could be going bye bye.

For real, it's been raining like the past four days here, not quite as bad what you're getting though.

I don't think anyone here in the southeast is complaining bout the rain. We're still almost in drought conditions from 2007. Water restrictions suck. Let it rain, but let it be nice for the weekends. I also like my lawn and garden to look good, same as my car.. But, yes it has been a rainy May so far here.. Come July, we will be begging for some more.. :o

Michigan finally has had some nice weather lately, but I have been couped inside studying the previous 7 days.

I'll get to enjoy the weather on Thurdsay though, and I hope it's not going to rain.

mustangV6_04 05-05-2009 11:36 PM

no rain here in like the last month

SnTBakosFinest 05-05-2009 11:56 PM

see...if it rained like that here in ca, we'd all be freaking out thinking the worlds gonna end..

It drizzled last friday.. and we average like..a little over an inch of rain per year here *shrugs*

On a side note: maybe you can stock that little creek of yours with some fish? LOL

SeanStang 05-06-2009 12:16 AM

Hasn't rained here in forever. Water restrictions are tight lol.

King 05-06-2009 08:15 AM

No rain here in three days. But it looks like you've got a moat in progress there, Evan.

AMNick 05-06-2009 08:23 AM

Its been raining every day for the past two weeks here...its driving me crazy. Finally going to be sunny this Sunday through Thursday though. I've been looking at my bikes everyday and reluctantly walking over to the truck instead to drive to work. Definitely torture. LOL

We don't have water restrictions (yet) in our county. I would love to have some rain.

I think today will be the first day in nearly two weeks that it hasn't rained, but it may still rain today and they are calling for rain for the rest of the week. So close to three weeks of rain. I even skiped a Autocross event Sunday because I was so damn sick of the rain.

I went to the beach today Evan, it was nice, sunny. Water felt nice.

BlueOvalFanatic 05-06-2009 07:51 PM

Got over 5" of rain in April. Can't complain though, as the last couple weekends have been awesome. So far in May, it has rained 2 of the 6 days, but with more in the forecast.

krenogin 05-06-2009 08:16 PM

man i swear, its flooded so bad the county schools got called off.. i live up on a mountain then i went to the bottom and looks like a lake everywhere,, some ppl got water up to their doors.

PColav6 05-06-2009 08:17 PM

I'm going to the beach again, tomorrow, guys.

krenogin 05-06-2009 08:29 PM
