Where/Who were you when you signed up for MB?
 

For some of you this will take you back a little bit, and for others not so much. So basically this has to do with what you were like back then, now, and anything in between.

THEN:
- March 2006
- 16/17 yrs old, Jr. in High School
- worked in a restaurant
- didn't have my license yet for another six months and didn't own a car

IN BETWEEN:
- i had a 2000 v6 Performance Red sixer

NOW:
- May 2009
- 20 yrs old, will have 64 college credits by the end of the day tomorrow at MSU
- still work in the same restaurant
- Drive an 2001 GT


This thread may be stupid, but I'm super bored.

Then:
- September 2007.
- 16 in High School.
- had my license with a 2000 v6 mustang.

In Betwwn: sold the mustang for an 06 Evo MR.

Now:
- May 2009.
- all most 18 yrs old, graduating high school.
- works as a window washer.
- drives an 06 Evo.

Then:
April, 2005.
18 Years old. Working @ Circuit City. (Senior Tech)
'98 Atlantic Blue 5-Spd Sixxer.

Between:
2006/ 2007/ 2008.
Got Engaged.
Sold the Sixxer, drove an '88 Acura Integra LS Special for a few months..
20 Years old working @ Auto Zone. (Sales Manager)
Quit Auto Zone at the end of '07, got My insurance licenses, Started selling Insurance.
Early '08 Bought the Stratus R/T.
Mid- '08 Bought first house.

Now:
May, 2009.
Still Engaged, with no wedding plans.. Pushing it off as long as possible. LOL!
22 Years Old. Insurance Agent.
2001 GT, and the 2003 Stratus R/T. (Hopefully the Stratus will be sold in a week or two.)

Then:
October 08
07 Mustang v6
At UNM suppose to graduate college that semester
Working full time at the same time

Now:
07 Mustang v6 modded a little
Gonna graduate Saturday May 16th with a BA in Criminology
Still working and will try to get a better job with my company CC&G

Then: Jul 2006
04 Red Mustang V6
Just graduated high school was 18
Worked at a restaurant as a server

Inbetween:
Same stuff but went to college in Michigan (the tundra)

Now:
Same car
Moved from Chicago to Texas and have lived here for 11 months at the moment.
Two days away from finishing up my Junior year of college
21 soon to be 22 :t:

Dec 2005
Junior In Highschool (17)
Mostly Stock V6 Mustang
Worked summers at a Car Wash Oil Change Place

In Between
College
Changed summer Jobs to working at a dealership
Modded Mustang alot

Now
About to finish my Junior year In college
Still have the same V6 but modded with 30k miles on the clock
22 in August

17 Years old
Just Graduated HS
Unemployed
Stock 02 Green V6

Inbetween

Worked for a General Contractor
Started lightly modding
Met my girl

Now
20
Working as an IBEW apprentice
Engaged
Building up the v6, 4.3 stroker ect

Then. Oct. 2004: 44 yrs old. Working on the factory floor. Senior Mechanic for 3 very different depts. Just bought a new 04 GT. And happened onto this site. Posted a few pics and got warm welcome.

In Between. Just been posting my thoughts to everyones post's and posting a few vids and pics..

Now. 49 years old this month, Still driving 04 GT daily, try to keep her clean as possible. No performance mods done to her. At work I'm the active Line leader for my 3 depts. with only 2 operators to help me run the machines. I'm also the stock selector,( forkilift driver) and I have to input the inventory into a computer database daily. Plus I still have to fix anything that breaks and troubleshoot machine processing daily, My plate is full from the moment I walk in the door at work..

I don't post pics anymore cause I aint got the time, plus nothing new done in a while. I still try to post my opinions on things, but most nights when I get home I'm plain ole whooped..

Worked at a brokerage firm
Had a 1993 Mustang LX
Had just gotten my second Mustang, a 2005 GT, bone stock.

During:
Same shit, different days.

Now:
May 2009
23 years old
Getting married on Halloween
Still work at the same brokerage firm
Still have my little old 4 cylinder 'Stang
Still have my GT, but it is not stock anymore. :D

Now a SR. Business Application Coordinator for the same company (making about double what I was making when I joined)

Then: 19 or 20 with a stock GT mustang.
School full time and detailing cars for money.

Now: 24 with a degree from UCF and starting law school in a few months.
Same 02 GT, but with nitrous,tons of drag radails on her,full bolt on car(minus headers),upgraded suspension and many more items.
Still detailing cars, and looking for a job till Aug when I start law school and or looking for a internship still!

Then
Jan 2008
- had just turned 18
- started to work for Office Depot
- Was starting my last semester of high school

May 2009
- Finishing my Freshman year in college
- Still looking for a job
- Has been asked to do some wedding photography for a friend of mine in Dec.
- Still have the Mach 1

Then:
20 and the mustang was basically stock
18 months into the air force

Between:
lots of mods
couple promotions
lived in a couple different countries
divorce

now:
25, put E-5 on last year
dont post much but im here about everyday
undecided on re-enlisting or not.
still have the mustang and still have lots of plans for it.

Then:
Aug 2006
18 yrs. Just had graduated high school
owned the mach since Feb. (stock when I got it)
Worked full time as manager for Houchens Ind.

In between:
Joined the local fire dept.
Put a few goodies on the mach

Now:
21 yrs.
Still with Houchens Ind. working 50+ hrs/wk
Working on getting my firefighters cirtification
The mach dont get drove much now that I have the jeep

Then:

married+kids+mortgage+student loan

03 V6 5-spd (garage queen)
90 5.0 (not running)
08 merc milan (wifey)
04 malibu (DD/beater)
90 silverado (220,000+ still running strong, cold AC)

its been quite a trip down mem lane

Something doesn't add up here, Gillz....you were 18 when you signed up in '05, and now your 25? it's only been four years.

Bought my 2000 Mustang GT Bone Stock

April 2008:
Worked at Lowes in Electrical Dept.
Had basically just visually modded the GT

April 2009-Present:
Instrumentation, Calibration, Motor Control, Scada System, RF, Electrician, Technician. Woo. Ha. Yeah i do alot.
Still have the GT, Its sprayed, and runs a decent time at the track.
Buying Real Estate
Making money, saving up for my 2010 GT500. lol.
