Went to Sonic today....
 

Went to sonic with the roommate this afternoon in the Mustang. We had separate orders. He paid with cash and I was using my card. I was waiting for my card to come back. So the lady comes back with my card and behind her is another employee that looks like a manager. Im like oh no my card didn't go through. Instead she says " Excuse me sir, But what or those things on the front of the car?" (referring to the hood pins) So i tell her oh there hood pins. She then asks what they do. So i tell her. " They keep the hood down" She then asks "so your hood would fly up without them?" So I say "No its just a precautionary measure since I have an aftermarket hood and its lighter than the stock one" She then proceeds to tell me that the reason she came out is because some girl working there saw them and wanted to know what they were but was to scared to come out and ask me because she didnt think I would answer her question.

After she said that I just looked over at my roommate and smiled. I had just been asked about my hood pins by some lady who worked at sonic. Kinda cool when random people come up and start talking about your car even if they don't know much about them. That surely made my day.


Oh and sorry guys the story isn't long enough for cliff notes....

Hmm...Hood pins, huh? Shoulda told her to send her out. LOL You seem to get recognition when you least expect it. I get dirty at work, so I dont drive the Mustang there that often- and when I do, I usually eat lunch somewhere within walking distance. I went to Wendys last week, like I have 100 times before, pulled up to the first window, and this kids like "Wow...love your car!" I thanked him, got my change, and pulled up to the second window. I happened to look in the mirror, and there was his and another kids heads out the window. Thought it was pretty funny, as those windows are not that big.

should have given the manager your number and told her to pass it on!

yeah and watch the girl been major ugly, or worse jail bait...... In either case Id pass her on to Switch.

Thinking back on it I should have told her to have the girl come out and then popped the hood and did my explaining. Then if she was hott enough given her my number. :cool:

followed by her saying why is this engine so puny :eek:

Id just say I made up for it in other areas...... ;)

LOL...OK, on a serious note, it is a very sharp Mustang. Whats up with the exhaust video though? :eek: I was expecting to hear some ass-kickin Ford power- not uhh, uhmm, that. Hanson?
