and for the rest of you.. Torrents are CRAP.. your movies are like 700mb lol, mine are a good 18gigz... if you dont use newsgroups you fail, i download blu-ray files in 1080p and stream them with Tversity to my PS3

Theres no reason for the movie to be 18gigs. I download from newsgroups and torrents and I get full 1080p Blu Rays which are roughly 8 gigs. Got them all downloaded to a 1TB hard drive and thats plugged in to my xbox. I have about 30 movies and I get some movies that aren't even out yet. I have Taken already. No lag or anything.

Stephen - what newsgroups do you use? I usually use easynews, but they seem to be slacking on getting stuff.

an 8gig movie is 720p... a short 720p is 4.6 min and a 1080 is 12g min.

720p 1080p who cares I watched a VHS tape with my neice the otherday and it was just fine if you care that much about clarity or what ever it signifies you take yourself to seriously

My parents have been fermenting their own wine for years now and I can very easily tell the difference between a good wine and an ok wine based on clarity and smell.... But in the end a cheap wine will get you just as fucked up as the really good stuff so who really gives a damn

Well considering I have a 52" 1080P tv, I would like to have full HD. I thought my picture was clear with 720P, but now that I have 1080P it's quite amazing.

And yes cheap wine will get you fucked up just as much as good stuff, but good wine won't make you feel like shit the next morning.

and Stephen, you can have a 1080P movie range from 8gb-12gb. Just depends on how its compressed. I guarantee my 8gig movies look just as good as your 12gig.

In most cases that is true but it is because of the amount of sufates used during fermentation if you find a cheap wine that doesn't use alot of sulfates you are golden. Sulfates are just a preservative

we never use sulfates because we have no real reason to keep a bottle past it's peak point most of our whites peak at 3-6 months and are good for about a year and the reds peak at about a year to 1 1/2 years and are good for about 2 years. Sulfates will keep a bottle good for 5 or even 10 years but it's past it's prime at that point

I usually let my father-in-law buy the wine and then I just drink his. haha. he usually drinks good stuff so its nice not spending money on it. Plus I live about 10 minutes away from roughly 30 wineries or so, which is nice cause most of them do free tastings.

Lazerred6 04-07-2009 03:55 PM

wine tasting FTW

Haha, stephen if you think torrents aren't the way to go you're seriously wrong.

I'm part of a private bit torrent site with better hd material than any newgroups have.

30 gig files? Our 1080p blu ray files are 60 gigs :D
