I'm finally in the 21st Century
Well after 5 years of carrying around my shitty nextels and never owning an Ipod... I upgraded to an Instinct. I really don't know how my life went on the last five years without this thing... I feel left out haha. I can't put the damn thing down. I considered switching to AT&T and getting an Iphone...but I didn't feel like paying for their ridiculous data plans. For all the gripes people seem to have with the Instinct, I'm pretty stoked with it.

Meh' it's a decent phone.. I've had it for a few months, You'll get bored with it eventually. My favorite feature without a doubt is the Fuel price by GPS.

Going from 5 years of looking at a 1 inch x 1 inch screen with just my contacts, this feels like a huge upgrade though. I actually didn't even realize it had the GPS until 2 days after I bought it. What kinda signal do you need to get it to work?

If you're looking for a real phone get the HTC Touch Pro and then hack the shit out of that thing. You can get free internet (no legal issues, because the people who work for Sprint get it), you can use torrents to download movies and anything else you want. You don't have to get a data pan to use it. Plus, it's the fastest phone out on the market (yes even more than the sucky Blackberry Storm). My manager at work has one and even though I'm on verizon I'm seriously debating about having two phones....
