do you people not give a fuck about the price of your car? lol

It all depends on the location and when you bought the car dumbass. I bought my car for 13K, but that was 4 years ago.

Switch 02-10-2009 08:34 AM

I bought my car with 30k miles on it for 6.5k

Black Sunshine 02-10-2009 08:43 AM

Got mine January 17th, 2008 for $20,000 with 9,627 miles on it.

zigzagg321 02-10-2009 08:47 AM

got mine for 11.5k with 20k miles on it in 2005. the car with 46k on it books for more than that still.

PColav6 02-10-2009 09:45 AM

$7k in 2006 with 47k miles.

Leonide 02-10-2009 11:47 AM

one thing stephen, you round 7400 down to 7000, not round up to 8000. dunno where you got your math classes at, but rounding up is 7500 and up, not 7400. :)

(that, and i still owed about 2 grand on my V6, so that is why it is 7400.)

+1 never understood why people even talk about prices. The price depends on where you live. Just like how the standard/cost of living in parts of california, new york city, chicago are much higher than the standard/cost of living in Orlando, indy, kentucky, etc which is why cars and other things cost more in other places.

Lazerred6 02-10-2009 11:58 AM

I got mine for 3.5k about 4 years ago with 85k on it

I have a 98v6

JackThe Ripper 02-10-2009 01:35 PM

I got my last stang in October 2004 for 28k with 3 miles on it. It was fully loaded, all options, and i got a big discount but still carried about 5 grand overhead from my trade in.

loudy decision, but one i never regretted, i had a lot of fun in that car. :D

mustangV6_04 02-10-2009 02:40 PM

I got mine brand new ordered specially for myself in april 04 for just a tad under 16k but my dad works for ford sticker was like 22k

Stephen4036 02-10-2009 02:44 PM

howd u order a special ford mustang v6. sorry i giggled when i read that.

King 02-10-2009 02:51 PM

I wouldn't knock his v6, it definitely looks like it's got more muscle than your GT.

+1 on that. And it actually changes from different cities and towns my state. Small town usually cheaper, but less to choosed from. I think alot of us who bought an 04 at the end of 04 got better deals because the new 05's were on their way in with much hype. Some people had to preorder an 05 GT with a 6 month waiting list. The dealers were pushing the 04's off the lot as fast as they could.

And prices haven't varied too much from 02 until now. I looked at a Mach1 in 2002 while shopping for my wifes car, and it was 32 grand sticker price. Competition orange w/ black stripes. absolutley beautiful I thought. But 32,000 was a bit much in 02. It's actually the reason I even bought a GT in 04 cause I loved that Mach so much..

Keep your Mach 1 bro. just try to refinance it maybe or hit the lottery... :)

King 02-10-2009 10:42 PM

Honestly, I might as well get hit by a truck than win the lottery. Especially here in Colorado...lottery luck is anything but. Most lottery winners here end up dying.

King 02-11-2009 06:39 AM

Hence the reason why I said "looks"

there are things called options. ya know, things that are upgraded from the standard equipment. so he special ordered his car with certian options that couldnt be found on the lots

They are saying that his car "looks" <-- (they call that a key word) better and faster than your car does, because well. It does. lol

Stephen, are you this dense in real life? Seriously. Dustin, anyone care to chime in on this?

PColav6 02-11-2009 09:13 AM

Stephen needs a god damn brass monkey. Evan, where's the brass monkey award?

No, he's not dense like this in real life. I think that is just his way of arguing. He is basically saying 'how can John's (mustangV6_04) car look more muscular than mine since it is stock, except for the wheels?' And the reason why he said that ordering options for a V6 made him giggle, is because his lines of thinking are 'why order all those options for a V6 when you could just save all that crap and get a V8'? If that's not his exact thoughts put into more literal terms, then I'd say they're pretty close.

I think all of this arguing over whose car looks better or whose car looks faster is stupid. If Stephen's Mustang was owned by anyone but Stephen, people would be like 'it looks great' and would be all over it like stink on shit.

Both of their cars look great. I've seen them in person, so I know. I personally don't think either one of them look faster than the other. Looks don't matter, it's what's under the hood that counts. :p

spike_africa 02-11-2009 11:17 AM

I would either keep the mach1 and just keep paying it off. Or sell it and get a cheap fox body which can be had for as low as $3,000 for a nice one down here.

Older Mustangs in Florida are always cheaper because we have such nice weather and thus they sell a lot of them down here.

I've been thinking about that too, I'm gonna make a new one for here. :)

I personally don't like the Cobra FB on Stephen's car, JMHO. Not baggin on Stephen because if he likes the bumper, more power to him, I've just never liked white Cobra's much less white GT's with a cobra bumper...

John's car looks more agressive because of the DD rears, Hood scoop and chin spoiler, yeah it's all asthetics and yes Stephens car may be faster, but we were talking about looks here.

Anyway, back on topic..

PColav6 02-11-2009 11:39 AM

Well to stephen's defense, the only reason the cobra front doesn't look great is because he doesn't have a damn chin, and he has shitty stock wheels. It'll look much better after he does those...the chrome headlights don't help either

Stephen4036 02-11-2009 12:13 PM

I have the black headlights now..

http://i290.photobucket.com/albums/l...g/P1010123.jpg

nothing againts his car at all, i love it.. and DSG is amazing. but if i had rims.. sorry... mine would be so much better.

King 02-11-2009 12:29 PM

I'll be honest, that adds a lot to the front end. Still need a chin spoiler and different rims though.

Lazerred6 02-11-2009 12:31 PM

I think stephens car looks pretty good the rims have to go but thats about it. Sometimes he is a douche online but at least he's funny

Black Sunshine 02-11-2009 12:35 PM

Weird thing is, his wheels don't look that bad in person. It would look better with some black Saleens or something.

PColav6 02-11-2009 12:42 PM

Also needs to lose that shitugly spoiler
