Chin Spoiler

I've been looking at everyone's stang and noticed how good everyone's chin spoiler fit. When i installed mine on my v6 i put it level with the wheel well, but at the front i could'nt get it to fit right it was like an inch to far back all the way around. Anyway i'm getting ready to intall the spoiler on my gt, and was wandering exactly how you guy fit yours? :confused3

There is mine! For me my chin spoiler could not fit "FLUSH" all the way around. Maybe built smaller or somethin! So mine has like a hlf an inch gap on both sides! It looks good tho because you cant really tell, until u get up close! Get another person to help you do it tho! Good luck

I had pretty much the same problem. It was not an EXACT fit. But I did the best I could when fitting it ...and it looks Fine...but not PERFECT...

this is common...

Yeh doin it by myself wasn't too much fun, did you use c-clap's to hold your's in place while your drilled. Thank for the reply.

C-Clamps are a must. I used those....it makes the install much easier!

They are not supposed to be flush, they set back a little in the front.Look at a Mach 1 and you will see.

The instructions tell you how to do it,line up the outside edges first and go from there.

That's kinda weird that they sit back and not flush...I wonder why that is?
