Any hints and/or tips? How does this differ than cs2? and cool things of note? does anyone even use cs3?

Been using it since the first day it came out, love the quick selection tool, kind of a blend between magic wand and lasso tool.

Other than that, much more user friendly, more powerful in many ways compared to cs2.

but honestly, it is far beyond my skills but there is some pretty awesome stuff in it

I use CS3 and like it. Can't tell you any differences between CS2 and 3, but there is a lot of crap to learn.
