my left headlight has that same problem, but it only shows up every other month or so... i just run it with the lights on and it dries out. |
sooo if it comes back im basically screwed? And if i run the car the next few days with my head lights on and it dries should i try and reseal?
|
pretty much, yeah.
maybe you can send em back and get a new pair? then again, if you run with yer lights on for a day or two it might disappear and never happen again. you CAN try to re-seal them, ive never done it. i couldnt imagine it would be harder than squeezing out a tube of silicoln, like the type they use on aquariums. |
so any other suggestions on how i can fix this?? Just dry em out and reseal is all u can tell me?

I coudl tell you to spin in three circles and chant "magical pink fairy monkeys fix my headlight" but honestly, i dont think any magical pink fairy monkeys will come fix yer light. im sure somone on here has resealed headlights before, put up a thread asking how you do that. mine leaks a little, but after running a day with my lights on it all goes away for a month or so. |
alright haha this thread is basically about resealing my lights so hopefully people will come and help!1

I have mentioned this on another thread about lights. If you over tighten the lights you may have broken the seal the best thing to do is to dry it with a hairdryer. Once its dry reseal all the lights with silicon. here is post http://www.mustangtuningforums.com/s...ht=leak+lights

alright so i gotta take out my light blow dry it to get rid of the moisture then reseal them and im in business good as new?
