Motorcycle accident
 

The other day I witnessed a motorcycle accident. It was pretty crazy, there were two sheriffs getting onto the freeway. Both were on motorcycles. Traffic was moving around 15mph or so and the cops started to move through traffic. They weren't going very fast, just casually getting over. I notice some dude on bike hauling ass and splitting lanes. He had to be going at least 40mph. Next thing I see is one of the cops changing lanes, not seeing the other guy hauling ass and the guy just t-bones the cop. I see the cop flip over the handle bars and the other guys bike go flying. The cop got up right away and was fine but the other guy was laying face down, but moving. You could tell he was in pain. Just something you don't see everyday and sucks to hit a cop especially when there was another cop nearby as a witness.

Well that guy who hit the cop is FUCKED.

I bet he gets charged with assulting a police officer lol

Let's count...wreckless driving, illegal lane change (splitting traffic), assulting a police officer, wreckless driving causing an accident...yeah, he's screwed.

At least he was having fun at the moment! :rolleyes:

Most people I see splitting lanes are usually being pretty cautiuous and not going too fast. This guy was just an idiot and I heard/saw him just zip right by and next thing I see is his dumb ass laying face down on the cement.

I think I heard something about that. That's nuts man. I see those dudes splitting traffic all the time, and wonder how more of them don't get hurt.

In some places lane splitting is legal. That's crazy though.

lane splitting is legal here. under certain speeds ... I don't think he was breaking the law but he was being foolish.

Yeah for the speed the traffic was going, he was going way too fast.

darn i wish i would have gotten to see that, i would have walked up to that guy and called him an asshole just becouse i could.

Just gives us bike guys a bad name.
