Did I almost f-up?

Coming home from work, I was coming to an intersection I go through everynight. 4 lanes, 2 turn left, 2 go straight and in the other direction 1 turns left, 2 go straight and 1 turns right. 4 lanes road both ways..

I get to this intersection and I ccould swear my light is green, car was gonna turn left in the opposite lane right in front of me, he blew the horn and stopped as I went by him, I was watching him and just thought he was going through a red left turn light.. I get through the intersection and look in my mirror and his light to turn left in front of me was Yellow.. OMG. What are the chances of his left turn light being green and my straight light being green at the same time.. Not very likely. I think I may have ran a red light Big time.

But I wasn't totally focused on my surroundings. Coulda swore my light was green but it may have been the left turn lights were green not the straight lights. Has anyone ever noticed traffic lights being off like that? His Light was yellow as I went through my green light? HMM. I think I'm due for some time off, and R&R.. And a handslap for running a red light.. :(

Does his side get a green arrow AND a solid green light, where the green arrow would give him the right-of-way and the soild would require him to yield to on-comming traffic but still be able to turn? He may have had the soild green and been a dumbass and though he owned the road at that moment. If you did run a red light, I'm glad your ok and didn't hit anyone, or get hit. Either one would be your fault and proably be a nasty wreck.

Nope, he was in a left turn only lane, that has a green arrow. I'm convinced I ran a red light without even noticing until I passed through it. He was watching, and stopped, but I also noticed him so I would have breaked in time I think. Geez I just wasn't focused on the road. I drive this route everyday to and from work. I guess I should clear my head before I leave work.. Sometimes I think about why this an that happened too much.. :(

I dunno, you could have been distracted.
I was driving my friends honda passport talking about how lucky we were that i was with them when we went to the police office because *whoops* both of their licenses are suspended for two more weeks! So we said I drove their and we left. I stopped at a green arrow. wtf?
Watch yourself out there guy.

Driving the same route everyday can get boring, you get home and think "I don't remember anything durring the drive home." Just gotta be more focused.
