? for ya east coast guys

i will be going to the east coast 4 bout 2 years mainly in Vermont.
My question is how does you r stang hold up in the snow. I have concerns about salting the ground out there

B-rett 06-12-2008 02:30 PM

wouldnt know dont drive the stang in the snow.... Salt isnt that much of a problem you just need to make sure you hosing it off a lot or it will pit your rims

htownv6 06-12-2008 02:31 PM

does not hold up good at all .. i will be throwing a cover on my stang when the snow comes and not driving it unless theres no snow or ice on the road at all ... vermonts gonna be real bad too it snows a lot .. when i was in high school and it snowed it would take me close to 5 min to get out of my neighborhood just bc its slightly uphill, and i also got some nice curb rash on a wheel driving to school .. its not fun

go and get yourself a good ol' subaru for the snow duty and wrap some blizzaks on them.

ha ha ha....not just from Cali, but freaking San Diego....home of probably the best year round weather in the U.S.

HokieStang00 06-12-2008 04:22 PM

You might want to consider a winter beater..if possible.

99Stang 06-12-2008 04:47 PM

Yea it's terrible but i manage, Vermont will probabaly be worse than where I am in NY(LI). I usuallu drive to work sideways. And good luck dealing with the cold.

why are you going to Vermont?

PureStang 06-12-2008 07:57 PM

i dont like to drive the stang in Pennsylvania snow...hell...vermont is going to be snowing pretty much every day. i think you should get a nother car that is good in the snow...

the only other option is to get studded tire...i believe that VT allows studded tires.

...wtf... cheddar..part out your stang..sell some shit to me man :)

cheddar, Cali is home to some of the best schools (college's) in the world.....why Vermont if you don't mind me asking? Don't you have to pay out of state tuition in Vermont?

htownv6 06-13-2008 03:38 PM

only reason i hear of ppl going to school in vermont is for the amazing skiing .. my dad went to middlebury up in VT
