Traded in the Mustang
 

I'd been thinkin about this off and on since I found I was going to college w/o a scholarship. I really need to start saving money to afford that and was beginning to figure that a car that gets 18MPG and begs me to throw money at it wasn't helping the situation at all.


So I went up to the stealership with my dad today and came back with this:

It's not that bad, yeah it's a civic, but they get decent gas mileage and still retain their value. It's got 97k miles on it, 5-speed. When we drove it off the lot it was amazing how slow it felt compared to the V6 stang, but I guess it wasn't bad for having an engine under half the size as the mustang did. To tell you the truth it's really not that bad of a car, the interior doesn't feel as cheap as the mustang's, and I'll probably like it a lot more when I have to go fill it up and see how I went twice as far on 1 tank of gas than the mustang ever could do. This is our first non-american car, now we have 2 GM's, 1 jeep, 1 ford and..1 honda. lol

I gave 'em the mustang with all the stock stuff back on it, LMK if anyone wants a chinspoiler/FR500s/mach-1 grille/8" antenna

I'm not going to rice this out, not going to do anything to it, just make it save me some $$ and then send it straight to hell in a few years to get another mustang (with a v8 this time)

Yes it was a poor attempt but I had to start it off so everyone would remain weary of bullshit stories for the rest of the day. I hope none of you bastards actually believed that, I wouldn't trade in my V6 stang for a BMW. lol

And no you can't have my chin/grille/FR500s/antenna/or the HIDs :p

Nice try. I knew you wouldn't have gotten rid of the stang especially since you did just get rims and tires. You only get 18mpg? I get that with highway and street mix.

The only thing that gave it away to me was I haven't seen too many stealerships use for sale signs in their car

Didn't believe it as soon as I read the title, but then again I am full aware of it being April fool's day. (i love going to all the websites and seeing peoples jokes... like thinkgeek always has an entire page of funny/bogus products)

No kidding my sixer gets like 19 MPG if i don't do any freeway or highway driving at all.
